FERRIDAY, La. – Services for Calvin H. Rabb, 63, of St. Joseph, La., who died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Patrick Catholic Church with the Rev. Louis Sklar officiating.
Burial will follow at Legion Memorial Cemetery, in Newellton, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Rabb was born October 7, 1944, in Ferriday, the son of Nolan Lee Rabb and Bertha Rae Rabb. He was a farmer and a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Nolan Lee Rabb and Wiley Howard Rabb.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Rabb; one son, Calvin “Hank” Rabb Jr. and wife, Patty, both of St. Joseph, La.; one daughter, Kimberlee Rabb Kinnard and husband, David, both of Monroe, La.; one granddaughter, Emily Nicole Rabb; one grandson, Calvin Rafe Kinnard; one sister, Alma Alost of Natchitoches, La.; and two brothers, James Rabb of Houghton, La. and Raymond Rabb of Waterproof, La.
Pallbearers will be Bobby James, Truman Goldman, Mac Hazlip, Edward Bottley, Wayne Brown and Scott Watson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Grace Jr. and George Grey.
Memorials may be made to Tensas Academy or St. Jude’s Hospital.
