NATCHEZ – Services for Jimmy Duane Hinson Jr., 51, of Natchez, who died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Riverland Medical Center, in Ferriday, will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Pentecostal Church of Natchez with the Rev. James Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the church.
Mr. Hinson was born Oct. 30, 1956, in Natchez, the son of Jimmy Duane Sr. and Betty Jean Stafford Hinson. He was a self-employed window and glass cleaner professional.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gregory Hinson and Richard “Richie” Hinson.
Survivors include three children, Torie Hinson of Natchez, Trey Hinson and wife, Bambie, both of Ruston, La., and Tabatha Hinson Otwell of Downsville, La.; three grandchildren, Chance Shaw, Gloria Hinson and Gabriel Hinson; one sister-in-law, Celia Hinson, and her children, Gregor Hinson, Skyelah Hinson and Dakota Hinson; one nephew, Hunter Hinson and wife, Sarah, and their son, Gaven; and a number of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Hinson, Gregor Hinson, Bill Hinson, Larry Dale Todd, Sam Wilkinson and Berry Wilkinson.
He was a loving father, a great grandfather and was loved by all who knew him. He never met a stranger.
