FERRIDAY – Memorial services for Donald “Skipper” Smith, 69, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, are incomplete at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Smith was born Jan. 3, 1939, the son of Edwin Oscar Smith and Vera Cooper Smith. He was employed as a carpenter. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.
