BOGUE CHITTO — Services for James Michael “Mike” Pickett, 49, who died Friday, Feb. 13, 2009, in an automobile accident in Bogue Chitto, were Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Franklin County.
Mr. Pickett was born Oct. 11, 1959, the son of Tom and Lanell Pickett. He was a successful businessman for many years and an advocate leader for Toys for Tots and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Survivors include is wife, Anita Carol Clark Pickett; two sons; his parents; two sisters; grandparents; and six grandchildren.
