CENTREVILLE — Services for Agnes Floyd, 86, of Centreville, who died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Winans Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Willie Jones officiating.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, in Centreville, under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home in Gloster.
Ms. Floyd was born April 10, 1922, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Nancy Martin Floyd. She was a member of Oak Hill Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Harold Smith.
Ms. Floyd was retired from the Wilkinson County School District as a bus driver and the Wilkinson County Home Extension.
Survivors include one son, W.L. Green and wife, Callie, both of Zachary, La.; a long-time companion of 50 years, Gayden Stewart of Centreville; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
