MONTEREY — Services for Bryan Cullen Pecanty, 27, of Monterey, who died Saturday, May, 16, 2009, at his residence in Monterey, will be at 11a.m. Tuesday, at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday, with the Rev. Kevin Sims and the Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Young’s Funeral Home in Monterey.

Burial will follow at Morace Family Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. Pecanty was born June 25, 1981, in Natchez, the son of Melissa and Carl Pecanty. He was a roughneck for Rowan Drilling and a member of the Eva Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Pecanty of Monterey; twin sons, Gavin and Matt Pecanty of Monterey; parents, Melissa and Carl Pecanty of Monterey; twin-brother, Ryan Carlton Pecanty of Monterey; sister, Jordan Paige Pecanty of Monterey; paternal grandmother, Verdya Pecanty of Monterey; maternal grandmother, Marilyn Campbell of Monterey; mother and father-in-law, Susie and Chuck Metcalf of Monterey; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Neil Bullock, Bryan Bullock, Greg Duncan, Kim Campbell, Keith Boone and Perry Pecanty.
