VIDALIA — Services for Rollie Tucker, 52, of Vidalia, who died Monday, July 13, 2009, in Vidalia, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home with the Rev. John Collard officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Tucker was born Dec. 26, 1956, in Ferriday, the son of Tommy and Beth Tucker.
Rollie delivered newspapers for the Alexandria Town Talk, The Natchez Democrat and Monroe News Star.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Brownell Tucker; one daughter, Love Lee Tucker; one son, William R. Tucker Jr.; his mother, all of Vidalia; six grandchildren, Chaise Nations, Hunter Nations, Landon Ferguson, Dominik, Xander and Mallori Harveston; two sisters, Ellen Yates and Merry Bonnette, both of Vidalia; three stepsons, Wayne Harveston of Vidalia, Carol Joseph Carlos of California and Jackie James Cornwell Jr. of Pearl; and four stepdaughters, Lena Geter of Vidalia, Shannon Marie Cornwell of Ferriday, Rosemary Arnold of New Iberia, La., and Kimberely Gill of South Carolina.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Donald, Gerald Donald, Freddie Green Sr., Freddie Green Jr., Dave Yates, Doug Yates, Willie Bailey and Gabe Bailey.
