NATCHEZ — Services for Barbara Jean “Barb” Marshall, 60, of Natchez, who died Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. John O’Hallaran officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m., with a Rosary from 10:30 until service time.
Ms. Marshall was born Oct. 11, 1948, in Natchez, the daughter of Addis Marshall Sr. and Thelma Pickett Marshall. She was an active and devoted member of Holy Family Catholic Church, serving as Eucharistic minister until her illness and death. She was a 1966 graduate of Sadie V. Thompson High School and attended Tougaloo College.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, L.B. Jones.
Survivors include four loving and devoted siblings, Alice M. Jones, Addis Marshall Jr. and wife, Paulette, John L. Marshall and wife, Gwen, and Ricky Marshall and Nickie Smoot, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
