BROOKHAVEN — Services for Virginia Ann Barfoot, 77, of Brookhaven, who died Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Damascus Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until services Tuesday.

Mrs. Barfoot was born Sept. 6, 1931, in Franklin County, the daughter of Cade Jack Smith and Effie Mae Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of Damascus Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Walter Barfoot; and three sons, Ricky Barfoot of Monterey, Tony Barfoot of Shucktown, and Dale Barfoot of Brookhaven; one sister, Jackie Rae Buckels, of Cleveland; six grand children; and seven great-grandchildren.
