STERLINGTON, La. — Services for Rita Lewis Prather, 53, of Sterlington, La., were Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at Sacred Hearth Catholic Church of Oak Grove, La.
Burial followed at New Forest Cemetery in Forest, La.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.P. Lewis; and two brothers, Johnnie Ray Lewis and Calvin Lewis.
Survivors include her mother, Catherine O’Flynn Lewis of Oak Grove; one son, Chad Prather and wife, Heather, of West Monroe, La.; one granddaughter, McKenzie Prather of West Monroe; three sisters, Shirley Wilson and husband, Doug, of Natchez, Linda Richard and husband, Eugene, of Bastrop, La., and Dianne Smith and husband, David, of Sterlington; one brother, Duane Lewis and wife, Sherry, of Winnsboro; and a number of nieces and nephews, including Heather Smith of Natchez and Regina Smith Pierce of Anchorage, Alaska.
