FERRIDAY — Services for Steve Dennis Hedrick, 55, of Ferriday, who died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2009, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gordon Finlay officiating.
Burial will follow at Hedrick Cemetery in Eva, La., under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hedrick was born Sept. 29, 1953, in Ferriday, the son of Hugh and Georgia Hedrick. He was employed by Centrally Technical Service as a paint inspector. He was also a member of Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one son, Michael Hedrick of Pineville, La.; one brother, Kenneth Hedrick of Ferriday; two sisters, Betty Hudnall of Jonesville and Melanie Lewis of Ferriday; aunt and uncle, Peggy and Albert Morace; a special friend, Kathy Blount of Vidalia; and a number of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Hudnall, Reggie Aswell, Ivan Hedrick, David Hedrick, Hunter Bryan and Roy Lance.
Honorary Gary Frith, Phillip Burley, Scott Hudnall and Ricky Byran.
