Willis Donald Lofton

NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Willis Donald Lofton, 67, of Natchez, who died in Vidalia Feb. 11, 2010, will be at 1 p.m. at McNeely Road Church of God with the Rev. Thomas Tapley officiating.

Mr. Lofton was born April 2, 1942, in Natchez, the son of Willis and Helen Irby Lofton. He served in the U.S. Army and was a self-employed welder.

Mr. Lofton was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Donna Kaye Lofton Ashley.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Lofton of Natchez; two sons, John Perry and his wife, Pauline of McKinney, Texas and Jerry Perry of Kentucky; three daughters, Kelli Lofton and Shannon Nettles of Natchez and Bonnie Chambliss of Vicksburg; six grandchildren, Laura Hendricks of Vicksburg, Emily Perry of Natchez, Ce Ce Perry of McKinney, Christopher Ashley of Vicksburg, Walter Reeves of Vicksburg and Shelby Roberson of Natchez; four sisters, Bobbi Merritt and husband Bobby, Betty Gail Lofton Freeman and Carolyn Taylor, all of Natchez.
