NATCHEZ — Services for James Clyde White, 77, of Baton Rouge, who died Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, in Baton Rouge, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Maurice Irving officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. White was born May 26, 1932, in Natchez, the son of Herman White and Ceola Henderson White.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one sister, Marie Stampley of Roxie; two nieces, Jacqueline S. Newell of Hazlehurst and Gwenevere Stampley of Natchez; two nephews, Leroy Stampley of Roxie and Herman Stampley of Fayette; nine great-nieces and great-nephews; and a number of cousins and friends.
