ROXIE — Services for James Larry Webb Sr., 66, of Roxie, who died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Union Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Larry attended Copiah-Lincoln College in Wesson and was retired from the Mississippi Army National Guard. He was also retired from Armstrong/Pirelli Tire and rubber Plant. He was a proud member of Union Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maxie and Margaret Webb of Roxie; one son, Jamie Webb; and one brother, Steve Webb.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Webb; two sons, Daron Webb and wife, Mitzi, of Stanfield, N.C., and Ryan Webb of Meadville; three granddaughters, Macey Webb of Stanfield, Bailey and Carsyn Webb, both of Smithdale; one nephew, Stan Webb of Wetumpka, Ala.; two nieces, Stephanie Holley and Alecia Andrews of Prattville, Ala.; one sister-in-law, Crecia Webb of Prattville; one stepson, Sean Hoppes and wife, Sharon, of Portland, Tenn.; and two step-grandchildren, Connor and Hayden Hoppes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Union Baptist Church Building Fund, Roxie, MS 39647.
