Mary Ivory

NATCHEZ — Services for Mary L. Ivory, 99, of Natchez, who died Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at noon Saturday at Egypt Baptist Church with the Rev. Ernest Ford officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Ivory was born April 14, 1911, in Natchez, the daughter of Major Reynolds Sr. and Mary E. Winchester. She was raised by Harriet Reynolds. She was a member of Egypt Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ivory was employed as a practical nurse and a seamstress.

She was preceded in death by parents.

Survivors include three sisters, Dorothy Brown of Fairview Heights, Ill., Betty Reynolds and Stella Miller, both of Natchez; and a number of other relatives and friends.
