CLINTON — Services for Michael P. (Mike) Cothren, 54, of Clinton, formerly of Franklin County, who died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, will be at 2 p.m. today at Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the church.

Cothren was born on Dec. 31, 1956, in Lincoln County, the son of James A. Cothren and LaNell Mullins Cothren. He was a construction worker.

Cothren was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include wife Regena Bray Cothren; sons James Michael Cothren of Hattiesburg, Corey C. Cothren of Brookhaven; stepson Jeremy Hawley of Bude; stepdaughter Misty Lewis of Clinton; grandson Colton Lewis; brothers Tracy Cothren of Bouge Chitto and Nolen Cothren of Vidalia and grandmother Retha Campau.
