WOODVILLE — Services for Eric Laroy Burkes, 38, of Woodville, who died Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, at Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, La., will be at noon Saturday at St. Mark Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie R. Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at Cedar Rest No. 2 Cemetery in Woodville under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Woodville.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Burkes was born June 2, 1972, in Centreville, the son of Herman Burkes and Classie Fountain Burkes. He was employed by Louisiana State Penitentiary as a correctional officer.
