WILDSVILLE, La. — Services for Theresa Nell Jones, 76, of Wildsville, La., who died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at Columns Nursing Home in Jonesville, will be at 10 a.m. today at Evangeline Baptist Church in Wildsville with the Rev. Lloyd Trisler, the Rev. Mack Walker and the Rev. Perry Gardner officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.

Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 27, 1934, the daughter of Robert Lee Fairbanks and Mamie John Fairbanks. She was a member of Evangeline Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Daniel “Danny” Lee Jones; and two brothers, Gerald Fairbanks and Lester Fairbanks.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Eddie F. Jones; two daughters, Glenda Ganey of Wildsville and Sandra White and husband, James, of Jonesville; one son, Perry Jones of Brandon; one sister, Leslye Fairbanks Parker of Jena, La.; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Towell, Robert Ganey, Jack Little and wife, Jimmie Jo, Evan White, Chris Jones, Nate Jones and Kate Jones; and two great-grandchildren, Kaelyn and Caleb Jones.

Pallbearers will be Jack Little, Evan White, Robert Ganey, Jordan Jones, Steve Jones, Mike Jones, Jon Passman and Chance Cooper.
