NATCHEZ — Services for Rosa Wilkins, 90, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wilderness Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Strickland officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilkins was born April 7, 1921, in Adams County, the daughter of Rufus and Nannie Williams. She was a member of Wilderness Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Mary D. Lartey; and one son, James Wilkins.

Survivors include two sons, George Wilkins and wife, JoLynnis, of Fresno, Texas and Claiborne Wilkins and wife, Isabella, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; one brother, Booker T. Dunbar of Fort Wayne; a special grandson, Bobby Lartey of Natchez; seven other grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
