Noble-Bates Charlotte Young of Natchez and William Andrew Greenwald of Bentley, La., were married Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Twin Oaks with the Rev. Steve Pearson officiating.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Bates Young of Natchez. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs., Mickey Pigg of Bentley, La., and Mr. and Mrs. William Ellis Greenwald of Andalusia, Ala.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. Jimmy Rodger Young and the late Mrs. Tilda Young and the late Ms. Shirley McDonald Roberts, all of Natchez. Grandparents of the groom are the Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holston of Bentley and Mrs. Beau Isadore Greenwald and the late Mr. Beau Isadore Greenwald of Crowley, La.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Sylvia Richie and Mr. David Troutman.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mr. James Bates Young. She wore an ivory V-neck gown with an alencon lace bodice cinched at the waist with a silk charmeuse cummerbund and silk organza A-line skirt.
Taylor Emily Young of Charlotte, N.C., was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Lynn Marchbanks and Mary Kate Partrige, both of Natchez, and Elizabeth Grafton Pritchartt of Washington, D.C.
Matthew Ellis Greenwald of Baton Rouge was the best man. Groomsmen were Timothy Zane Thompson of Andalusia, Troy Francis Davis and Matthew Alexander Dunn of Baton Rouge.
Ushers were Edward Myles Ireson of Austin, Texas and John Batts Draper of New Orleans.
A reception was held at Twin Oaks following the ceremony.
The couple now resides in Mandeville, La.
