ROXIE — Services for Walter Ray Hines, 56, of Roxie, who died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Roxie.

Burial will follow at Higdon Community Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Sunday at the church.

Mr. Hines was born July 24, 1955, in Roxie, the son of John Wesley Hines and Essie Lee Allen.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Weda M. Culbert.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Brown; four daughters, LaSonja Anderson of Bude, RaSha Long and husband, Michael, of Tennessee, Juanolita Johnson and husband, Maurice, of Baton Rouge and Renee Poole of Natchez; three sons, Walter Anderson of Meadville, Jarvis Hunt of Bude and Wesley Hines of Roxie; one stepson, Patrick Brown of Roxie; and a number of other relatives.
