NATCHEZ — Services for Geneva Gordon Turner, 97, of Natchez, who died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at Crown Health and Rehab, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Greater St. Mark Baptist Church with the Rev. Maurice Irving officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Turner was born April 16, 1914, in Natchez, the daughter of Horane and Anna Gordon. She attended Adams County schools and was a member of Greater St. Mark Baptist Church.

Mrs. Turner enjoyed cooking, quilting and pottery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Turner Jr.; her parents; one daughter, Lula Mae Ivory; and two grandsons, Carlos Turner and Sanchez Turner.

Survivors include a loving grandson, Robert Ivory and wife, Angela; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Don Gordon and wife, Myrtis; a special family of relatives, Jonathan and Renza Grennell and Darryl Grennell; and one godson, Leo Hunt of Las Vegas.
