NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Alleon Hess Bucciantini, 90, of Natchez, who died Dec. 7, 2011 at the Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at St. Mary Basilica with Father David O’Connor and Father Charles Bucciantini officiating.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. today at St. Mary Basilica followed by a rosary service at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be from 1 p.m. until service time Monday.

Mrs. Bucciantini was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Natchez, the daughter of Charles Philip Hess and Mary Agnes Burke.

She was a retired secretary and a lifelong member of St. Mary Basilica.

Mrs. Bucciantini was preceded in death by her husdand, Bill Bucciantini; her parents; son, David L. Bucciantini; one sister and five brothers.

Survivors include three sons, the Rev. Charles Bucciantini of Leland, Michael Bucciantini and wife, Kay, of Hattiesburg, and Chris Bucciantini and wife, Deborah, of Meridian; one daughter-in-law, Martha of Ridgeland; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one sister, Carlotta Breithaupt and husband, Max, of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Graham Bucciantini, Buddy Hess, Paul Burns, Charles Mardis, Pat Sanguinetti and Greg Whitam.

Honorary pallbearers will be Addie Bass, Louise Dore, Pearlie Mack, Mary Tucker, Daisy Ware and Annie Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Cathedral School at 701 N. Pine St., Natchez, Ms., 39120, or St. Mary Basilica at 107 S. Union St., Natchez, Ms., 39120.
