Roberts-Stevens

Katie Stevens and Cody Roberts, both of Vidalia, were married Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at 6 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Louis Sklar officiating. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Stevens and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Roberts, all of Vidalia. Music for the ceremony was provided by Richard Alwood of Ferriday and Barry Maxwell of Ferriday served as Lector. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Vernon Stevens. Emily Stevens of Vidalia, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Lane Stevens of Baton Rouge and Meghan Stevens of New Orleans, nieces of the bride, were flower girls. Joey Roberts of Vidalia, brother of the groom, was best man. Brian Stevens of Baton Rouge, brother of the bride, served as usher. Grant Stevens and Clayton Stevens, nephews of the bride, both of New Orleans, were ring bearers. A reception was held at the Vidalia Conference and Convention Center following the ceremony. After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple will live in Baton Rouge.
