NATCHEZ — Metro Narcotics seized nearly 20 firearms as part of a drug bust Wednesday morning.

Metro Narcotics was executing a warrant at 114 Mount Carmel Drive as a result of an undercover investigation when they seized 16 grams of cocaine, 13 ounces of marijuana, $856 in cash and 17 guns, Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said.

Louis Shelby Johnson, 26, 114 Mount Carmel Drive, was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Other charges are pending, Mayfield said.

The sheriff said the suspect self-identifies as a member of the Black Gangsta Disciples.

Johnson is being held without bond until arraignment.
