NATCHEZ — Services for Walter Lee Bindom, 56, of Cannonsburg, who died Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Riverland Medical Center in Ferriday, will be at noon Saturday at Linwood Baptist Church with the Rev. D.W. Howard officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Bindom was born March 14, 1956, in Jefferson County, the son of Phillip Bindom Sr. and Luberta Ransom Bindom. He was a member of Linwood Baptist Church and the L.F. and C. Society. He worked as a residential painter.

Mr. Bindom was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Phillip Bindom Jr.

Survivors include two brothers, Emmett Bindom and wife, Audrey, and Frank Bindom and wife, Caroline, all of Church Hill; four sisters, Elcelia Wilson, Willie Rice and husband, Lorenzo, Barbara Bindom and Frances McKnight, all of Natchez; one aunt, Bonnie Lee Jones of New York; one uncle, James Jones and wife, Elizabeth, of Cannonsburg; and a number of other relatives and friends.
