FERRIDAY — Services for Alice Jean Morris, 69, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Cade officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Morris was born May 7, 1943, in Fort Benning, Ga., the daughter of James and Lucinda Holmes Morris. She was a retired administrative assistant.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, James Morris III.

Survivors include her mother of Ferriday and a number of cousins, including Eliza Cage, Renard Cage and others of the Cage family in Concordia Parish.
