NATCHEZ — Services for Jessie Lee Jackson Fleming, 86, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Mrs. Fleming was born April 20, 1926, in Adams County, the daughter of George and Callie Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Phillip Fleming Sr.; one son, Phillip Fleming Jr.; and one daughter, Carolyn F. Wright.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha F. Brooks and husband, Leroy, of Camp Springs, Md., Rosetta F. Bailey and husband, Cordell, of Lafayette, La., and Amanda F. Brown and husband, Francis, of Natchez; four sons, Henry James Fleming, Joseph Fleming, Charles Richard Fleming and wife, Betty, Marcellus Tyrone Fleming and wife, Tracy, all of Natchez; three sisters, Lula M. Thompson, Eddie Hobson and Matile Hall, all of Natchez; one brother, Aaron Jackson of Natchez; one daughter-in-law, Johnetta D. Fleming of Los Angeles; one son-in-law, Marion Wright of Natchez; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbors, church family and friends.
