County extends date to pay 2009 tax bill

NATCHEZ — Adams County has extended the deadline for area residents to pay their 2009 taxes due to Hurricane Isaac.
The courthouse closed early Tuesday and will be closed all day today due to the storm.
Because of the closure, the county extended the tax deadline until 5 p.m., Sept. 4.
