FERRIDAY — Services for Charles William Frazier Jr., 63, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. L.C. Lord officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, La., under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Frazier was born Feb. 20, 1949, in Ruston, La., the son of Charles William Frazier Sr. and Floye Lord Frazier. He was a graduate of Winnsboro High School, attended Louisiana Tech University and was a graduate of North Louisiana University of Monroe, obtaining a bachelor of science degree in agricultural business.
Mr. Frazier was Methodist.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Marcus Lord Frazier.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sally Drewett Frazier; two daughters, Kelly Thompson and husband, Tony, of Jena, La., and Erin Jackson and husband, Gene, of Ferriday; one sister, Dee Anna Frazier Knockemus and husband, Kevin, of Kansas City, Mo.; mother-in-law, Mrs. Thomas N. Drewett of Jena; four grandchildren, Jarred Anthony Thompson, Jordyn Jackson Merrill, Jared Gene Jackson and Sara Jeanette Jackson; one great-grandson, Beau Riley Thompson; one great-granddaughter, Josie Grace Merrill; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Thompson, Gene Jackson, Lee Rife, Bud Robinson, Donnie Davis and Tommy Lowry.
