JONESVILLE — Services for Clifton Kerry Bass Sr., 64, of Jonesville, who died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at his residence, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lake Lilly Baptist Church with Bro. Frank Bass officiating.

Burial will follow at Heard Cemetery in Manifest under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home of Jonesville.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Lake Lilly Baptist Church.

Mr. Bass was born Nov. 12, 1947, the son of Maycel and Geneva Bass.

Mr. Bass lived a fulfilling life. He worked and retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after 28 years of service.  He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family.

Mr. Bass was preceeded in death by his son Jace Bass and his father, Maycel Bass.

Survivors include his mother, Geneva Bass, sons, Boogie Bass and wife, Barbara, and Daymon Bass; grandchildren Patrick Lucas, Jedde Bass, Brianna Bass, Blaine Bass, Camden Bass and Lake Bass, all of Jonesville; sisters, Kathy Ferrington of Pineville, Jane Butts of Jonesville and Cara Anne Scroggs of Jena; a very special brother, Shane Bass of Jonesville, and a number of neices and nephews.
