NATCHEZ — Services for Mary Gibson Williams, 78, of Natchez, who died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. LeRoy White officiating.

Burial will follow at Zion Watts Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Williams was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Washington, the daughter of Rufus Gibson and Annie Robinson. She was a member of Zion Watts and attended New Beginnings where she served on the Mothers Board.

Ms. Williams was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Pearline Robinson, Josephine Green, Eugene Ray, Charles Gibson and Rufus Gibson Jr.

Survivors include four siblings, James Gibson, Leroy Gibson and Mamie Gibson, all of Natchez, and Dorothy Campbell of St. Louis, Mo.
