NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Mrs. Mary S. Drane, 75, of Natchez, who died Friday, October 12, 2012, at Minden Medical Center in Minden, La., will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Natchez.
Burial will follow in the National Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville and 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church Monday.
Mrs. Drane was born June 1, 1937 in Knoxville, Miss. She was the daughter of Harvey and Laura Shell Saucier. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Natchez and was member of the American Legion Auxillary. She worked in the retail industry for 25 years and was retired from Sally’s Beauty Supply in Natchez.
She was preceded in death by her parents; special cousin, C.F. Jordan and special nephew, Doug Dooley.
Survivors include her husband Erle Drane, one daughter, Cindy Wheat and husband, Greg, of Smithdale; one son, Bubba Kerben and wife, Jackie, of Meadville; three step-children, Dianne Jones and husband, David, of Mooresville, N.C., Debbie Cornelison and husband, Tim, of Commerce, Ga., and Kathy Nunley and husband, Joey, of Olympia, Wash.; three grandchildren, Mandy Wilson and husband, Matt, Doug Kerben and Brandon Wheat; six step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three nieces and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Natchez Children’s’ Home or to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Natchez.
