FAYETTE — Services for Calvin Allen, 56, of Fayette, who died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at his residence, will be at noon today at Fellowship Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Mr. Allen was born March 27, 1956, in Fayette, the son of J.C. Allen Sr. and Josie Howard Allen.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his grandparents; one nephew, Montreal Allen; and four uncles, Alexander Howard, Ulysses Howard, Harry Howard Jr. and Joseph Howard.

Survivors include one daughter, Trena Gales; his father; three sisters, Sarah Allen, Vera Allen and Sharon Allen; seven brothers, Willie Allen, Jerry Allen, J.C. Allen Jr., Michael Allen, Cedric Allen, Joseph Kemp and Robert Robinson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
