FAYETTE — Services for Rosie Lee Tenner, 83, of Fayette, who died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 11 a.m. today at Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Stampley.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mrs. Tenner was born Aug. 4, 1929, in Fayette, the daughter of Clem and Emmaline Jackson Stampley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Simon Tenner Sr.; two daughters, Susie Cameron and Ruth Cruel; and two sons, Simon Tenner Jr. and Leroy Tenner.

Survivors include five loving and devoted daughters, Etta Jones and husband, John, of Tupelo, Dorothy Chambliss, Clemmie (Ruby) Tenner and Cassondry Tenner, all of Fayette, and Patricia Banks of Natchez; one brother, Cosey Stampley and wife, Rosie, of Rowlett, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
