VIDALIA — Services for Andrew “OC” Hollins, 67, of Ferriday, who died Friday, May 10, 2013, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Stephens Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Leon Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hollins was born June 15, 1945, in Ferriday, the son of Rogers and Elnora Scott Hollins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Rogers Hollins Jr. and James Wilson.
Survivors include two sons, Andrew Brown of Vidalia and Frederick Hollins of Louisville, Ky.; one daughter, Sheryl B. Slaughter of Louisville; four brothers, Don Hollins and wife, Denise, of Minneapolis, Minn., Ricky Hollins and wife, Catina, and Randy Scott, all of Vidalia, and Matthew Scott and wife, Debra, of New Orleans; six sisters, Emmieline Scott of Vidalia, Rosa Mae Henderson and husband, Ceamul, Patricia Scott and Aline Carter and husband, Lawrence, all of Ferriday, Earline Hollins and Elnora Young and husband, Ricky, all of New Orleans; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; godsister, Jerrica Harris of Ferriday; and godbrother, Keith Johnson and wife, Becky, all of Ferriday.
