RIDGECREST – Funeral services for Virginia Ann Ainsworth, 72, who died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at her residence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ridgecrest with the Rev. Don Bush and the Rev. Denny Braswell officiating.

Interment will follow at Rosefield Cemetery in Rosefield, La., under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ms. Ainsworth was born to the union of Otis C. and Verena Wyant McKee.

She was the office manager for Ashland Pipeline for 33 years and then full-time mamaw to several. She played the piano and organ at Ridgecrest Baptist Church for several years. She loved her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Ivy Shannon Ainsworth.

Survivors include her loving husband of 49 years and eight months, David Ainsworth; one son, Todd Ainsworth and wife, Kim; two grandsons, Devin and Maddox; one brother, Otis McKee and wife, Judith Ann of Sandy Bayou, La.; six sisters, Edna Craft and husband, Mickey, Ferriday, Mary May of Columbia, Devon Earls and husband, Shelton, of Roxie, Sue Jacobson and husband, Gary, of Sterlington, La., Nancy Creel husband, Calvin, of Vidalia, Pam Ruddell and husband, Scotter, of Sandy Bayou, La.; special niece, Tori Edwards; special nephews, Brye Edwards and Dylan Sontoyo, who she was a mawmaw to, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Rayford Buckles, Tommy Barron, Red Blackmon, Charles Cain, William Seyfarth and Mike Yerick.
