MEADVILLE — Funeral services for Edwin Quentin “Quent” Peterson Jr., 78, of Meadville, who died Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, peacefully at his residence, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Meadville United Methodist Church.

Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home of Meadville.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday at Franklin Funeral Home 9:00 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at Meadville United Methodist Church.

Mr. Peterson was born July 31, 1935, in Minneapolis, to Edwin Q. and Flora Knapp Peterson. He was a retired sales and marketing executive from Diamond International Corporation of New York and ABC Packaging Corporation of Tampa. He was a member of Meadville United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Burton Peterson.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Leonora Eugenia “Jean” Peterson of Meadville; three daughters, Krista Peterson Smith and husband Timothy of Champlin, Minn., Karyn Peterson of Excelsior, Minn., and Karen Graves Posey and husband Kenneth of Meadville; three sons, Mark Peterson and wife Deborah of Purcellville,Va., Michael K. Graves and wife Stacey of Hernando, and Johnny M. Graves and wife Barbara of Garland, Texas; two sisters, Marilyn Amolsch and Wilda Marie Holzer; 10 grandchildren, Joseph Peterson, Joshua Smith, Ashley Smith, Logan Rick, Brittany Graves, Alexis Graves, Micah Graves, Garrett Graves, Brandon Hollingsworth and Joseph Hollingsworth; and a number of nieces and nephews.
