NATCHEZ — Funeral services for James C. Davis, 81, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Curtis Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow in Sunset View Cemetery under the direction of Curtis Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Davis was born Dec. 18, 1932, the son of Albert and Evelyn Davis. He attended Adams County Schools. He was a truck driver and of the Muslim Faith. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and one brother.

Survivors include two brothers, Charles E. Wright and wife, Cora, of Natchez and John W. Davis, of Chesapeake, Va.; two sisters, Cheryl A. Bradford and Amanda Screws and husband, Charles, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and other relatives and friends.
