GLOSTER — Funeral services for Hazel Ann Longmire, age 74, a native and lifelong resident of Wilkinson County, who died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Pioneer Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Dixon officiating.
Burial will follow in Sanders Fork Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home in Gloster.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Pioneer Baptist Church and 9 a.m. Monday until time of services.
Hazel was born March 1, 1939, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Lilliton Elmo Sanders and Bessie Mae Geter Sanders. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Eugene “Bill” Longmire; a daughter, Kathy Lynn Spillman; a son, William Eugene Longmire; and a sister, Barbara Faye Rollins.
Survivors include three sons, Danny Ray Longmire, Ronnie Eugene Longmire and Robert Earl Longmire; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dennis Elmo Sanders and Clifton Lavone Sanders.
