NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Jessie W. Snigleton, 85, of Waterproof, who died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2014 at his residence, will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Natchez National Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Harris officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. today at Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mr. Singleton was born Jan. 22, 1929, in Waterproof, the son of Joseph Singleton and Rebecca Bessie Jordan Moore. He was retired from the Los Angeles Transit as a master mechanic, and retired from the U.S. Marines as a master mechanic with 22 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include one son, Tracy Singleton of Los Angeles; one daughter, Antoinette S. Jarmon, of Carson, Calif.; one grandson, Antwoine Cooper, of Carson; one granddaughter, Trachelle Singleton of Los Angeles; one great-grandchild, Jihad Cooper of Carson; and the mother of his children, Bobbie J. Singleton, of Los Angeles.
