FERRIDAY — Services for Evelyn Breland Crawford, 77, of Clayton, who died Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Sharp officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery in Sicily Island under the direction of Comer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crawford was born July 17, 1936, the daughter of Joseph Curtis and Iva Lee Higginbotham Breland.
She was a sports fan and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She loved her flowers and working in the yard and spent her leisure time reading and working her crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her husbands, James Minton and Cooke Crawford; her parents; one son, Austin Minton; and one sister, Cathy Breland.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Minton and wife, Cindy and Curt Crawford and fiancee, Tammy Thompson, all of Sicily Island; two daughters, Sharon Sadler and husband, Greg, of Bastrop and Karen Crawford of Gilbert; seven grandchildren, Steve Minton Jr., Bobby Crawford, Kayce Waller, Taylor Sadler, Kyle Carter, Pete Rayborn and Dusty Mincey; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, Wendell Breland of Ferriday, Doyle Breland of Natchez, Marshall Breland and wife, Mel, of Alto and Noel Breland of Clayton; one sister, Carolyn Lushute and husband, Julian, of Ferriday.
Pallbearers will be Julian Lushute, Steve Minton Jr., Taylor Sadler, Joseph Waller, Dallas Bass and Bobby Crawford.
