NATCHEZ — Entergy crews are responding to several power outages in the Natchez area.

At 5 p.m., Entergy Mississippi spokesman Tim Runnels said there were 528 outages in the area.

A cluster of outages, Runnels said, were reported in the U.S. 61 South area near Jeff Davis Boulevard.

“That area alone is making up 350 of those outages,” Runnels said. “Once we get that area fixed, that number will go down significantly.”

Runnels said no out-of-town crews were being brought in to assist with the outages, but that crews in Natchez would work late tonight to ensure all outages were restored as quickly as possible.
