STAMPLEY — Services for Ronald “Russ” Walker, 61, of Fayette, who died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon Saturday at Pine Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Lonnie Culbert officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Walker was born Aug. 5, 1953, in Fayette, the son of Bunion Walker and Beatrice Chaney Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Charles Walker.

Survivors include two sisters, Brenda Nunnery and Linda Walker Turner; two aunts, beloved aunt Ruby L. Chaney of New Orleans and Jessie Smith of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, especially Ed Felton who was like a brother to him, other relatives and friends.
