MONROE, La. — Services for Mary Jane Newman, 90, of Monroe, La., formerly of Vidalia, who died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at her residence, will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe.

Mrs. Newman was preceded in death by her husband, W.V. “Blondie” Newman.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Laborde and husband, Elliott; two sons, Michael Newman and wife, Mary, and Stephen Newman and wife, Dee; and eight grandchildren, Angela Rugg, Elliott Laborde Jr., Sean Newman, Stephanie Lass, Margeaux Newman, James Newman, Christine Newman and Angel Camp.
