Lenora Davis Butler

NATCHEZ — Funeral services for Lenora Davis Butler, 93, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Watch Baptist Church with the Rev. Selmon officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Butler was born May 15, 1921, the daughter of Henry and Luberta Davis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James and John L. Butler; and one daughter, Gloria Jean Page.

Survivors include her beloved husband, the Rev. Andrew Butler; seven sons, Leroy Butler and wife, Shannon, of Natchez, Andrew Butler Jr. and wife, Marie, of Tennessee, Jack Butler and wife, Ima Lee, the Rev. Donald Butler and wife, Gladys, Dale Butler, Eddie Butler and the Rev. Joseph Butler, all of Illinois; three daughters, Velma Allen, Lenora Latham and Lynda Thompson, all of Natchez; two sisters, Versie Davis, of Illinois, and Mamie Edwards, of Warrensville Heights, OH; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
