FERRIDAY — Services for Edd “Buddy Ed” Jolla, 68, of Ferriday, who died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Harvest Baptist Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Charles G. Chandler officiating.

Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be at 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Jolla was born April 12, 1946, in Ferriday, the son of George and Jessie Turner Jolla.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Barbara Jolla Smith and Dorothy Scott.

Survivors include one son, Edd Jolla Jr.; two daughters, Wanda Jolla, both of Los Angeles and Andrea Jolla of Dallas; four brothers, Daniel Jolla and wife, Jessie, George Jolla Jr., all of Ferriday, Roscoe Jolla and wife, Suzette, of Charlotte, N.C., and David Jolla and wife, Lubertha, of Seattle, Wash.; three sisters, Margaret Lawrence, Virginia Nelson and husband, Johnny, and Sally Chatman, all of Ferriday; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
