NATCHEZ-Memorial services for Travis Thames Patterson Jr., 79, of Natchez, who died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Merit Health Natchez-Community Campus, will be 11 a.m. today at Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Wayne Chaplain officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Patterson was born July 11, 1936, in Richmond, Va., the son of Travis Thames Patterson Sr. and Laverna Harlan Patterson.

He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and pursued a number of avenues of business interest during his career.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rolvix Harlan Patterson.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, JoAnn Patterson; two sons, Travis T. Patterson III and wife, Anne Sayre Patterson, of Sterling, Va., and Charles Christopher Patterson of Lexington, Ky.; two daughters, Anne Wade Haerle and husband, Brent of Kirkland, Washington, and Jennifer P. Voss and husband, Van, of Natchez; his seven grandchildren that he greatly enjoyed, Haley Patterson, Travis T. Patterson IV, William Wade Patterson, Jacob Drew Nounsgri, Justin Livingston, Nolan Voss and Hunter Voss.

Memorials made be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 33 Fatherland Road, Natchez, MS 39120 or the charity or organization of choice.
