Funeral services for Billy D. DeLaughter, 69, of Natchez, MS will be Thursday, August 27, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia, LA with Rev. Jacob Howington officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Natchez, MS, under the direction on Young’s Funeral Home.

Mr. DeLaughter was born June 22, 1946 in Independence, MS to Bill and Margie DeLaughter and passed away August 24, 2015 at Natchez Community Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill DeLaughter and brother, Johnny Delaughter.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Patsy DeLaughter of Natchez; mother, Margie Thornton DeLaughter of Natchez; son, Kevin DeLaughter of Natchez, daughter, Tina DeLaughter Grantham and husband Rodney of Natchez, two sisters, Janice Norris and husband Carl of Natchez, Elaine Green and husband Bud of Houston, MS; sister-in-law, Tina DeLaughter; grandchildren, Bridget, Patrick and Marilyn Delaughter, E.J., Ashley and Taylor Grantham; seven, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Patrick DeLaugher, Donnie Babb, Aaron Day, Corvan Day, Jarrett Day, and Melvin Grantham. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Norris, Jr., Carl Norris, John DeLaughter, Jr. and Dale Collier.
