ST. JOSEPH — Services for Debra Douglas, 57, of St. Joseph, who died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at her residence, will be 2 p.m. today at St. John Baptist Church in St. Joseph with the Rev. Donald Scott officiating.

Burial will follow at Oneonta Cemetery in St. Joseph under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until service time today at the church.

Ms. Douglas was born Dec. 6, 1958, in Newellton, La., the daughter of Cleandrew and Gertrude Morris.

She was a correctional officer.

Ms. Douglas was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Sharonda Morris.

Survivors include one son, Thaddeus Morris of Monroe, La.; one brother, Cleandrew Morris Jr. of Las Vegas; two sisters, Linda Coleman and husband, Johnny, and Toni Morris, all of St. Joseph; special friend, Scott Jones of Newellton; special niece, Demetra Morris of Tallulah, La.; great-niece and great-nephew, Taylor and Tyler Morris of Tallulah; five grandchildren; three aunts; and one uncle.
